PRIMARY FUNCTION: Implement, manage and improve, the maintenance strategy to ensure the availability of production equipment complying with the requirements of safety, quality and production rate for which it was designed. Implement, monitor and improve the metrics needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Define, manage and improve the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance plan. Define standardized work for maintenance team and perform process reviews to ensure compliance. Perform analysis to identify equipment for TPM RIE events and critical spare parts. TPM ELSS tool leader, which will ensure staff training. Lead RCM strategy. Manage and develop the functional competencies, leadership and continuous improvement of your staff, to execute the maintenance plan through the one-on-one meetings. Update and follow maintenance procedures, in accordance with the requirements of IATF, ISO 14001, Customer Specific Requirements, MESH, OSHAS 18001. Monitoring, analysis and improvement of maintenance metric. (MTTR, MTBF, PM, availability), through the use of continuous improvement tools (TPM, A3, Problem solving). Responsible for carrying out the upgrade plan and/or improving obsolete equipment. Identify and execute cost out projects. Define maintenance standards (For example: Energy Control, Spare Parts, Visual Help). Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Competencies Mechanic Engineer, Electro mechanic Engineer, Industrial Engineer Degree or similar + 3 experience years as Maintenance Manager Knowledge in Control, PLC, Electric, Mechanic, Hydraulic. Leadership skills Desirable knowledge ultrasonic welding, leak test, grinding Project management knowledge Knowledge of security (LOTO, machine guarding, etc) TPM Knowledge Bilingual English/Spanish Communication Skills. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION EHS RESPONSIBILITIES: Separate hazardous waste from the common waste. Place hazardous waste (gloves, rags, etc.) in assigned containers. Keep clean the work area contaminant free. Do not waste water. Report any activity that may jeopardize my safety and the environment. Identify and properly dispose all the chemicals that may contaminate the environment. Act immediately in case of chemical spills. Ensure the correct container for the disposal of hazardous waste (identified containers and containers to prevent spills). Report the entry of new Chemicals required for Maintenance purposes due to mantain a record updated and assure the compliance of the correct handling of them.
