I am working exclusively with a ground-breaking, innovative Quantum Electronics company striving to develop and establish novel materials with the aim of transforming quantum computing.
Established in 2020, with a recent investment of USD 10 million, this company has already been recognised as a front-runner in the second quantum revolution. Acquiring a sole site in the centre of Paris in 2023, this company’s vision and mission are simply unprecedented.
I am looking for an Equipment Engineer to join this unique team. As an innovative, independent worker, you will be responsible for calibrating this company’s nanofabrication equipment.
The following will be the primary duties of this position:
Solely responsible for calibrating any nanofabrication equipment frequently
Upkeeping any required maintenance of nanofabrication equipment (e-beam, evaporator, SEM, ICP etc) in the company’s independent cleanroom, with the assistance of the lab manager
Calibration of tools (dry etch, e-beam, evaporator) and observation of this calibration via the use of metrology tools (AFM, SEM, EDX)
Establishing, developing, and continually maintaining and updating the user manual, any required guideline checklists, calibration log file and relevant process datasheet
The ideal candidate would possess the following preferred abilities, credentials, and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in the following disciplines: Nanotechnology, Nanoscience, Quantum Physics, Experimental Physics, Vacuum Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Fluent in English
An innovative, organised individual with meticulous attention to detail
At least 12 months experience in performing maintenance of cleanroom tools and other systems: - - Evaporator, dry etch, e-beam lithography, SEM Cryopumps, turbopumps, primary pumps, dry pumps Chillers, filters, air compressors
At least 6 months experience in performing nanofabrication autonomously in a cleanroom with the following processes or tools is required: Dry etch Wet processes (cleaning, resist spinning and west etch) Metrology tools (SEM, AFM) Metal evaporation
