Purpose of the Role:

• Be a proactive team leader and manager in pursuing the overall development of Sepam in line with the company’s vision, mission, objectives, and core values;

• Takes overall responsibility for the management and control of all projects undertaken by the company;

• Works closely with the clients to ensure the  completion of  projects with “Unequalled Quality and Timely Service at a Competitive Price”;

• Optimizes the utilization of resources and the financial returns from all projects.

Development of the Group

• Formulates and develops corporate strategies, objectives and business plans;

• Implements a training and development program for its key men;

• Provides support to the division managers;

• Develops the resource and technical capabilities of the company.

Project Management   

• Maintains a positive cash-flow of all ongoing projects;

• Ensures that all third party interests are maintained in accordance with good business practices at all times;

• Prepares and closely monitors budget for each project in accordance with the CCS;

• Meets project targets on sales margin and cash flow as specified in the CCS;

• Turns over project on-time;

• Ensures that  safe work practices are followed at all times and zero accident incidence is maintained;   

• Complies with legal regulations concerning labour and personnel welfare;  

• Prepares and implements project plan, standards and procedures in accordance with company, client and project requirements;

• Makes sure that the project control functions for material takeoff and quantity measurement are maintained in line with the company and client’s standards;

• Complies  with Engineering standard requirements for the project, as well as statutory audit requirements;

• Protects Sepam’s interests in the contract with the Client and  with subcontractors and suppliersl;

• Ensures that the company’s procurement procedures are strictly adhered to;

• Maintains correct manning levels  in accordance with company ratios;

• Develops and Implements ISTO procedures;

• Ensures submission of financial reports on-time.

Client Relationship

• Establishes and maintains harmonious business relationship with  clients;

• Submits regular progress reports to keep the clients well-informed;

• Develops business contacts and generate new business projects for the company

• Monitoring and Reporting   

• Monitors closely ongoing projects;

• Submits regular progress reports to the General Manager.
