Facilities and assets include residue gasification, acid gas clean up (Rectisol), soot ash recovery, Sulphur recovery (Claus & Scot), combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, air separation, water utilities systems and wastewater treatment facilities.

The Role:
We require an Advanced Process Control (APC) Process Engineer with a strong understanding of plant process control methodology and practice or a Controls Engineer with a strong understanding of process engineering principles and applications. You will support the early life phases and commissioning of the project to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation and project success.
Your contribution will be to identify and solve operability issues by implementing advanced process control solutions based on understanding of the process. You will also provide a significant contribution in the journey to advanced and integrated controls across the facility, with specific support for base layer loop tuning activities.

Requirements of the Role:
You should have previously performed the above in a consultative capacity to organizations comparable in size and complexity of Jazan IGCC.
  • Review of existing pre-FEED documentation related to control system integration and trip propagation prevention system across the IGCC.
  • Revise and improve existing pre-FEED documentation to ensure basis is sound.
  • Develop pre-FEED documentation to PFD (Process Flow Diagram) level.
  • Develop conceptual and functional design specification of the solution to meet the desired objectives of the system.
  • Identify critical dependencies to enable successful deployment of proposed solutions.
  • Identify and facilitate specification of long lead items for the project.
  • Understand Contractor obligations between customer and client.
