EngineeringWe are looking for Coating /Insul/AC Lead CP for one of our clients with the following details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 36 Months
Location: Doha, Qatar
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Engineering/Construction Degree or relevant is beneficial, however, not a requirement and a minimum of 10 years industry experience at a senior level.
- Hold a valid NACE or equivalent level III Coating certificate
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in coating & insulation works of Oil & Gas industry with exposure to Topsides construction on Fabrication Yards.
- Exhaustive experience for preparation, fabrication and construction of coating and insulation of offshore structure including piping and equipment especially Topsides structures with EPCI contractors.
- Experience managing multiple EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in project execution
- Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards,specifications and codes
Job Responsibilities
- Provides safety leadership by example to the NFPS Project Team and Topsides fabrication contractor, its sub-contractor and site vendors
- Responsible for ensuring the NFPS contractor team implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for HSES project deliverables.
- As NFPS Project team construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the NFPS contractor team and its sub contractor(s) in their area of responsibility.
- Report on the construction activities, progress, areas of concern and mitigation actions to Head of Fabrication and participate as well as contribute to weekly construction discipline review meetings.
- Responsible for implementation of execution activities and ensures development, review and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures and programs for safe and effective execution.
- Reviews and approves the NFPS contractor team's construction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements. Participate in constructabilty reviews, workshops during construction to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in their area of responsibility.
- Support the engineering team to stay on schedule to meet all critical milestones; develops and stewards recovery plans to address any schedule delays
- Review construction risks and assist in providing mitigation measures. Report Risks to the NFPS Head of Fabrication.
- Verify that the EPC Contractor's reports are accurate with regards to progress reporting.
- Monitor site material handling, preservation and storage/warehouse procedures with respect to their area to facilitate construction progress.
