Reservoir Engineer - E&P Company

Great opportunity for an early career Reservoir Engineer to work for a London based E&P Company on their international assets (mainly offshore West Africa).

Main objectives:

Production forecasting, reserves assessment and provision of general reservoir engineering expertise with standard reservoir engineer softwares suite.

The Reservoir Engineer will review the potential output of the field based on potential development activities and strategically assesses the implications of the field potential. Provide reservoir engineering support for drilling and production operations. The scope covers tasks from well and field data preparation and review at well pick stage to operations and well performance monitoring at production stage. This responsibility involves tasks such as multi-discipline data analysis and data acquisition planning and execution follow-up.

Tasks:

  • Creation, development and maintenance of dynamic reservoir models for major producing assets.
  • Review production data set and field decline
  • Complete field development plans including documentation, representation and execution
  • Coordinate and support surface operations and facility engineering departments in all aspects of reservoir development planning, field performance and well optimisation studies.
  • Deliver reports and presentation of studies results to management team
  • Interact with wells and production/operations team in a collaborative manner


This is a permanent staff role based in my client's London office, my client is looking someone with 2 - 5 years' experience, full-field reservoir simulation work experience, and reservoir modelling experience, and ideally international project experience in locations such as West Africa and / or the Middle East.
