ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Facility Management & Policy Compliance:
- Liaises and co-operates with other heads of departments, ensuring awareness of schedule & ongoing maintenance activities.
- Promotes effective communications through regular awareness and safety meetings.
- Participates in the effective monitoring, audit and review of management systems and procedures, and Contributes to their further development and continuous improvement.
- Review and validate all maintenance systems and procedures and provide the required support for ERP/CMMS, document mapping and project control.
- As a SAP system main user Manages through detail planning, preparation and reporting, the execution of both PPM and Corrective Maintenance works in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Maintains facilities equipment and associated documentation in accordance with prescribed PPM schedules.
- Provides technical support for the performance of all aspects of equipment operation, care and maintenance.
- In conjunction with SCM, ensures effective management of Spare Parts and Services required for effective maintenance of the plant.
- Manage and control the application of diagnostic fault-finding skills on key equipment and systems and identify the training for personnel as required.
- Performs Root Cause Failure Analysis where required.
- Manage the maintenance budget and provide budget forecasting requirement for upcoming years.
- Responsible for the effective execution of slowdowns and shutdowns.
- Improve the competency of LN staff and carry performance evaluation for maintenance personnel.
- Drive a culture of continuous Improvement.
Minimum Educational, Experience Required:
- Suitable NVQ or equivalent in a relevant Maintenance / Engineering Discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in an Oil and Gas field position including roles as Maintenance Superintendent or Supervisor
- Knowledgeable of Multi-Discipline Maintenance, Condition Monitoring and Asset Integrity.
- Good knowledge of SAP Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Skilled in the use of other software packages including MS Word, Excel, Project.
