Business Comms Partner (Saudi National Only)
We are seeking a Human Resources and Corporate Services (HR&CS), Business Communications Partner (BCP), to join the Business Communication Alignment Division in the Communication Strategy Department, Public Affairs.
Together HR&CS are responsible for making sure Aramco provides its professionals with the right development programs and high-quality environment to work and live in. The successful candidate will serve as a communications advisor to the HR&CS team, and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a tailored and specific HR&CS communications strategy based on the Companies Business and Talent Management Plans.
The BCP's primary roles are to provide strategic advisory support as a key communications interface between Public Affairs and HR&CS, and to ensure that all communications strategies are fully aligned and integrated with the overall Corporate Communication Strategy and that communication plan activation is well coordinated across Public Affairs.
Key responsibilities
• Serve as a key interface and coordination point for all communications workstreams, managing input from the HR&CS business leads, Business Communication Alignment team, and the broader Communication Strategy Department.
• Stakeholder mapping and research that helps to build a deep understanding of the audience and their needs.
• Leveraging data-driven insights (including corporate reputation tracking, media analysis, benchmarking) to inform a strategic approach, communication objectives, and KPIs.
• Development of compelling, multi-channel HR&CS communications strategy, with input from leadership and corporate affairs.
• Development of internally focused messaging and supporting materials, drawing on proof points to validate messages.
• Coordinating with other Public Affairs teams to successfully activate the communications strategy - including through media relations, social media, event management, publishing, internal communications, speechwriting, and other marketing/communications channels as appropriate.
• Development of clear communications KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of communications and external engagement - in alignment with strategy.
Minimum requirements
The successful candidate will have three to five years of experience in strategic/international communications, either in-house or in a consultancy.
Experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy Sector is preferred, with regional experience also desirable. Experience in an internal or community communications role also desirable.
Candidates will have strong academic credentials, holding a Bachelor's degree, with advanced or professional qualifications in Communications or related disciplines also desirable.
In addition to this the successful candidate:
• Should have proven experience in developing a multi-channel corporate communications strategy in a global, diversified, and agile organization.
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
• Must also have professional gravitas, credibility, and diplomacy skills to liaise with senior leaders and executives.
• Will be able to translate the firm's purpose, vision, talent management and community service plans to employees.
• Must have strong project management skills as they will act as a key interface and coordination point for all HR&CS communications workstreams, managing input from the relevant leadership team, Business Communication Alignment team, and the broader Public Affairs department.
• Will have the ability to confidently present to senior executives and explain communication strategies, techniques, and KPIs.
• Will have the ability to communicate internal HR&CS information and objectives and translate these into clear and compelling communication concepts for internal audiences.
• Will have experience working for international and/or global company in KSA or GCC region.
