Brunel International is looking for an experienced\nDrilling Fluids Engineer / Mud Engineer to join our team. The successful\ncandidate will be responsible for providing drilling fluid engineering services\nand overseeing the operations of both offshore and onshore wells.

The Drilling Fluids Engineer / Mud Engineer will be\nresponsible for ensuring that all operations are carried out in a safe and\nefficient manner, while also providing technical advice on drilling fluid\nsystems and mud programs;
The successful candidate will also be responsible for\nmonitoring mud parameters, analyzing data, and preparing reports;
The Mud\nEngineer will work on a rotation of one month onsite and one month offsite,\nwith the project duration being 6 months with the possibility of renewal.

Minimum educational degree in engineering / technology / graduate in science with chemistry one of the subject;
Minimum experience of ten (10) years for providing drilling fluid engineering services including drilling of at least five (5) oil & gas wells with measured depth above 16,000 ft and / or mud weight 18 ppg & above;
BOSIET & H2S certification required for offshore position; H2S certification required for onshore position;
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English language;
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
Flexibility to travel as needed for job duties;
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
Knowledgeable in relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
