We are seeking experienced an Mechanical System Engineer to focus on the Mechanical Train Systems & Architecture, detailed design on sub-systems on a initial 12 month contract with scope to be extended

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 3D models: Create and update digital models of components and systems.
• Drive design: Design internal components, ensuring adherence to allocated space, weight, and interface requirements.
• Manage information: Populate model data and ensure design consistency.
• Conduct and document reviews: Lead design reviews and document outcomes.
• Maintain quality: Analyze and implement changes, while verifying the quality of external designs.
• Deliver project goals: Manage deliverables, troubleshoot issues, and report progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with 3D modeling software and digital design platforms.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Experience in the Train and Rail Industry
