SEPAM is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineers for major customer projects globally. We have a number of high profile and exciting projects that require excellent Electrical Design Engineering Talent and we are growing our Saudi Arabia team to support this.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) projects, contributing to the design and implementation of electrical systems for our upstream and downstream facilities.
Responsibilities:

Electrical Design: Lead and participate in the design and development of electrical systems and components for oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with international codes, standards, and Aramco specifications.

FEED Engineering: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide electrical engineering expertise during the Front-End Engineering Design phase of projects, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, and cost estimation.

Technical Expertise: Apply advanced engineering principles and techniques to analyze and solve complex electrical design challenges, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, earthing, and equipment specification.

Project Support: Support project managers in the execution of FEED projects, providing technical guidance, reviewing design documents, and ensuring deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

Interdisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, such as process, mechanical, and instrumentation, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall facility designs and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies related to electrical design aspects, ensuring the safety, reliability, and operability of oil and gas facilities.

Documentation: Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, datasheets, calculations, and reports in accordance with Aramco standards and project requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, and SKM PowerTools.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards applicable to electrical design in hazardous environments (e.g., NEC, IEC, ANSI, API).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Prior experience in Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) projects is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required
