A local rail and civil contractor with a strong presence in the Newcastle and Hunter Region is currently seeking highly skilled Site Supervisors to join their team.

Specialising in civil and rail upgrades and infrastructure projects, this contractor offers a fantastic opportunity to work locally and be part of an award winning company culture.

In this role, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating the successful delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining high-quality standards.

• Participate in daily pre-starts, program, and handover meetings to align with project requirements and timelines.
• Review and understand project design and scope of works in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Coordinate and manage the work and performance of construction teams and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Leading Hand in the rail or civil construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction and safety.
