About your responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer - Electrical Network Calculations M/F reporting to the Electricity Network Calculations section, you will participate in international projects in Technip Energies' three product lines: 0-carbon solutions (Hydrogen, wind power, etc.), LNG, Sustainable Fuels. As a senior engineer specializing in the calculation of electrical networks, you will work in multicultural electrical teams and will be responsible for the design and dimensioning of electrical networks for your project, as well as carrying out the related electrical calculations and simulations.

Your main tasks as follows:

• Model electrical networks using ETAP/Powerfactory software, in order to carry out the electrical studies associated with a project, as well as the corresponding calculation notes: load sharing, short-circuiting, motor starting, cable cross-section calculations, harmonics, dynamic stability, flash arc, selectivity and protection settings.
• Validate HV-HVA-LV protection schemes, in liaison with electrical project managers.
• Coordinate technical aspects with electrical project managers and, where applicable, customers.
• Analyze Grid Code to carry out HV/HVA connection studies for our ENR projects (Offshore - Onshore wind farms, Photovoltaic power plants, H2+BESS production plant).

Within the electrical section and department, you will provide support for the following functions:

• Monitoring changes in electrical calculation standards
• Enhancing the technical skills of department members

About your profile:

• A graduate of a leading engineering school, either generalist or specialized in electrical engineering, you have at least 10 years' experience in the field of electrical network calculations.
• Flexible, rigorous and dynamic, you're a team player who thrives on contact with different cultures, people and environments.
• You can speak and write reports in English, and are mobile enough to travel in France and abroad.
• You are comfortable with basic office and IT tools.
