If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Coating Superintendent Lead, reporting directly to Construction Manager to join our Construction team based in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

About the Job

Your main missions and responsibilities will be to: Directing any craft in the safe execution of the site-specific scope of work items outlined in the contract documents. Monitor work progress to assure timely completion to meet schedules and budgets. Projects typically consist of concrete repair, structural strengthening, structural steel repair in industrial settings.

Main Responsibilities;

• Read prints, specifications, and both written and verbal instructions as required to perform duties and responsibilities as listed below.
• Working closely with Project Managers and operational leaders
• Participating in pre-project and pre-task planning activities then disseminating planning details to field crews.
• Motivating team members to work together to accomplish tasks, coordinate work activities with other construction project activities and assign work to employees, based on material and worker requirements of specific jobs
• Ensuring crews are operating all tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner
• Communication with the project management should continue daily.
• Responsible for onsite customer relations.
• Attend job walks as requested by management and provide the documentation necessary to provide pricing information.

About You

Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the supervision of industrial construction trade teams and projects.
• Demonstrate a broad knowledge of tank coatings operations and technical abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in a matrix environment.
