The responsibilities will include;
- Prepare the estimate plan and cost estimate template based on the guideline set in the ITT documents
- Agree/align the cost estimate template with client.
- Follow up with discipline engineering team for the material take-offs, equipment list and other engineering deliverables and to ensure that the same is aligned with client agreed cost estimate template.
- Prepare and issue the RFQ's for 3rd party services, bulk items, fabrication works, specialist services etc. to the market on the need basis and as per cost estimate guidelines set in the ITT.
- Technical adjudication of the major process equipment/system vendor offers etc. with the help of engineering team
- Commercial bid evaluation of vendor offers and tabulation of the same in the agreed cost estimate templates.
- Attend the vendor clarification meeting and align the techno-commercial tabulations
- Prepare the construction estimate by using historical data's and do the efficiency calculation on the productivity based on the nature of the project and region.
- Estimate the Project Management, Engineering and other indirect cost based on the project schedule and input provided by the respective business units.
- Attend the estimate progress review meeting with client and apply all the outcome of the meeting in the estimate.
- Final Compilation and breakdown of the cost elements as per the templates agreed with client.
- Preparation of basis of estimate /cost estimate report
- Prepare detailed bottom-up estimates for EPC proposals, Construction Proposals and Services proposals.
- Estimate direct and indirect costs.
- Identify and promote best practices within Estimating teams for the region.
