The Opportunity:

Kent is a Tier 1 EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Contractor operating in the Resources sector, with a primary focus on traditional energy projects as well as initiatives related to energy transition. With a reputation for excellence in delivering complex projects, Kent is committed to sustainable practices and innovation in the construction industry.

We are seeking an Offshore Construction Supervisor to join our team based in the Perth office. This position will be Perth based to begin with, and then work back to back with our current Offshore Construction Superintendent to execute works offshore.

This position is responsible for development of work packs and activities leading up to the execution phase. In the execution phase this will position will assist in overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of the construction team, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of offshore construction projects. The Offshore Construction Supervisor works closely with the Offshore Construction Superintendent and / or Project Manager and various project stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

We would need to see this qualifications & experience...
  • A technical qualification, or a relevant trade in engineering or a related field (pref. Mechanical or Piping).
  • Previous experience in offshore Oil & Gas (Mandatory)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision with offshore experience, and a strong background in EPC projects.
  • Proven experience in developing construction workpacks and methodologies Excellent project management skills, including resource management, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of traditional energy and energy transition projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in relevant construction software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client offices, work sites, fabrication yards, and other Kent offices as required.
  • Applied technical knowledge of the upstream oil & gas or petrochemical industry including whole of asset lifecycle experience.
  • Understanding of Project controls function covering planning (Primavera), cost control, cost management systems, document management systems and Quality Assurance.
