About The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Static Equipment Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing various static equipment for Oil & Gas projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of various static equipment like Pressure vessels, Columns, Shell & Tube Heat exchangers, Air cooled heat exchangers, Plate heat exchangers, Storage tanks, Stacks, filters, Pig traps etc. The candidate should be able to prepare Basis of design, design calculations, Mechanical datasheets, job specifications and Material Requisitions as per code and Client requirements. The candidate should also be able to perform technical bid analysis, raise technical clarifications, checking of vendor drawings / calculations, technical recommendations, and purchase requisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop various static equipment for Oil & Gas projects.
• Prepare Basis of design, design calculations, Mechanical datasheets, job specifications and Material Requisitions as per code and Client requirements.
• Perform technical bid analysis, raise technical clarifications, checking of vendor drawings / calculations, technical recommendations, and purchase requisitions.
• Understand the project requirements and support the Lead Engineer in the project deliverables preparation with minimum help.
• Familiar with various pressure vessels software like PV Elite, CODECALC, COMPRESS, TANK, Nozzle PRO etc.
• Familiar with various International Codes and Standards like API, ASME VIII Div.1 & 2, Euro codes and various clients standards like Shell DEP Standards, TOTAL standards, Chevron standards etc.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Static Equipment design in Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong understanding of various static equipment like Pressure vessels, Columns, Shell & Tube Heat exchangers, Air cooled heat exchangers, Plate heat exchangers, Storage tanks, Stacks, filters, Pig traps etc.
• Experience in handling packages and fired heater equipment will be added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of various pressure vessels software like PV Elite, CODECALC, COMPRESS, TANK, Nozzle PRO etc.
• Familiar with various International Codes and Standards like API, ASME VIII Div.1 & 2, Euro codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
