Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing renewables team based in the Northeast. They are actively seeking out a PV engineering expert to take a lead role in the development of their projects and products.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for PV SCADA Control development, commissioning, and testing.
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant NERC Standards for PV SCADA and SCADA Control Execution.
  
• Lead application design for renewable generation control systems
  
• Provide technical support across departments for new project pursuits and product development.
  
• Mentor junior engineers in renewable control system application design and commissioning.
  
• Prepare and maintain engineering plans and schedules.
  
• Identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
  
• Foster and maintain strong customer relationships.
  
• Monitor project financial performance.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  
• 9+ years of experience in power generation control system applications.
  
• Expertise in renewable energy systems, power conversion, energy storage, PV, or power systems control.
  
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically.
  
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  

• experience in PV SCADA controls development and testing.
  
• Strong understanding of renewable resource operations and NERC Standards.
