• Master in Petroleum Engineering / Reservoir Engineering but also could be Master in geology/ geophysics

Technical skills :

• Interested in learning E&P business and technical aspects (subsurface, drilling)

Computing skills :

• Knowledge of Pack Office
• Data analytics skills is expected (spotfire, PowerBI) as well as some programming skills (Python,..)

Languages :

• English: level B2
• French: level B2

TotalEnergies EP Norway has a large and important portfolio of oil & gas assets offshore Norway which is operated by other companies, from the Snøhvit LNG field in the North, to the Greater Ekofisk Area in the south, providing a production Company Share of around 250.000 boe/d, with investments and operating costs Company Share of around USD 700 million each, per year.

The portfolio is split into 5 Asset Areas, under the supervision of Asset Managers with Technical support from a dedicated department.

In one of the core asset, TotalEnergies Norway is gathering a lot of new subsurface data (4D seismic, production, monitoring, new wells logs data) from the operating company. Gathering all these data in order to form our own and consistent subsurface vision is key to support all future investments decisions like new infill wells, projects.

The VIE project consists first in consolidating of the key data and interpretations into the main 2G&R (TIBCO Spotfire) project linking all available seismic, log, simulation models data for a major field of TotalEnergies EP Norway portfolio in close cooperation with the subsurface team following these fields and with support from TotalEnergies Headquarters.

The second objective would be to implement improvements to the existing project (s) and to take advantage of these projects to support the subsurface team in assessing the value of upcoming investments decisions (mainly infill wells - several per year).

Context & Environment

The selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates.

The affiliate will provide an accommodation.
