Candidate Profile

• University degree bachelor's in electrical engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a similar role within the solar PV industry. Additional training in Solar PV (Design and technology) is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), and use of AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope and other PV software.
• Fluency in English in written, listening and speaking. Knowledge of French, Spanish, German, Italian is a plus.

Activities

As a Solar Project Coordinator, you will manage PV plant design, planning, permitting, EPC tenders and project follow-up on construction phase, on the European perimeter.

Your main missions are the following:

• Technical Coordination:
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity of project requirements and standards around the European Hub.
• Monitor the project progress at a European level and identify potential risk and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Serve as point of contact for the technical aspects of the European projects, liaising between the country Project Manager, the engineering teams, and other technical teams.
• Facilitate technical discussion and problem-solving sessions to resolve issues and drive projects progress.
• Animate and organize monthly execution meetings to asses the advancement of projects and the accomplishment of COD objectives.

• Presales and Sales support:
• Coordinate technical requests between Business developers, customer, and design team in India for developing most beneficial solution to the customer.
• Study the customer requirements, define the conceptual and preliminary designs and identification of risks & get price estimates from contractors
• Perform site visit to gather details required for development of the project - area, interconnection, structural suitability, safety requirements, etc. perform technical due diligence for acquisition
• Define and optimize the technical part of the offer (non-binding and binding offers) to create additional value
• Perform technology assessment, cost optimization and sensitivity analysis
• Prepare an Review the technical packages for contractor selection through RFP processes

• Project execution:
• Coordinate each project-specific design review process with external parties
• Ensure the follow-up and the execution of all projects
• Supervise and identify solutions during construction in all technical issues that may arise
• Ensuring that projects meet TotalEnergies technical specifications and applicable standards
• Coordinate and supervise all technical related conditions required for provisional acceptance
• Responsible for the registration of all assets in the REN digital tool (Netsuite)

Context & Environment

This position is part of the Distributed Generation Direction of TotalEnergies Renewables business unit, dedicated to the development, construction, operation and financing of B2B solar projects all over the world. Projects are solar on-site installations for self-consumption with a size between 1MW and 20 MW and installed on the sites of its commercial and industrial customers.

TotalEnergies has a plan to have 35 GW of renewables generation capacities in operation by 2025 and 100 GW by 2030. Of this, 3 GW is planned to be achieved in 2025 by the Distributed Generation (DG) Business Unit (on-site solar) and 9 GW by 2030.
