JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Vessel and Heat Exchanger Engineer (Static Engineer) that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. This is an opportunity for you to become a valuable, well-rounded of an experienced team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute Static Equipment Group work scope in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards
• Preparation of Datasheets, Material requisitions for the defined static equipment
• Review of Vendor's quotations, prepare Technical bid Evaluations and recommend the final technically acceptable Vendor
• Review of Vendor Drawings and Documentation as per relevant Technical Practices
• Coordinate with inter-discipline staff on all technical issues to arrive at appropriate resolution
• Correspond with the Vendor on technical matters and ensure that action is taken where necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical /Power projects
• Knowledge of Chemical Static Process equipment
• Well versed with international codes & standards, ASME code, API and TEMA standards are preferred
• Experience from Fabrication shop for Static equipment would be an advantage
• Possess good interpersonal skill with sound written & oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
• A team player and able to work under pressure
