JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance services to their Lytton site.

We are currently seeking expression of interest on short-term positions for motivated and experienced Boilermakers with maintenance and turnaround/shutdown experience, to work as part of our team supporting the upcoming 2024 Ampol Shutdown, commencing 16th July for 4-6 weeks.

This is a good short-term opportunity to earn EXCELLENT RATES, while still being based at home.

This is a Brisbane-based role, locally based applicants are preferred at this time, however, consideration will be given to those living outside of Southeast Queensland with the required skill set and experience.

We will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrable strong commitment to safety
  • Enjoy working in a team environment and self-motivated
  • Ability to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the role.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Trade qualified
  • Previous Shutdown/T&I experience is a definite advantage
  • You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
  • Must current Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket - validity two years from date of issue
  • Penalty rates apply
  • Must be available for Wood medical ASAP
