As a Project Manager - Repair, you will lead and oversee the successful execution of repair projects and work orders within our organization, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will manage all aspects of repair activities from the release of work orders until project completion, collaborating with internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and control all aspects of inspection, repair, and testing activities on NOV drilling equipment in our Baku Repair workshop, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Approve, release, and monitor the status of production and purchase requisitions to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Identify and proactively manage any issues within the repair activities, whether in-house or with vendors, that may impact project delivery timelines or budgets.
- Raise internal issues to resolve customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
- Regularly update work order due dates based on capacity fluctuations and vendor delivery schedules, communicating with internal departments and vendors to expedite project timelines.
- Create, revise, and update quality plans, routers, and inspection test plans as needed to ensure adherence to project requirements and specifications.
- Schedule meetings to release new work orders to the repair shop, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to facilitate project kick off.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within planned costs, providing input to the scheduler for the manufacturing build plan.
- Update and revise routers and ERP system data to ensure compliance with applicable procedures and policies.
- Maintain communication with customer repair representatives for project updates and feedback.
- Keep the scheduler informed of any changes that would affect lead time, facilitating efficient resource allocation.
- Support communication with vendors, suppliers, and relevant parties as needed to facilitate project execution.
- Coordinate inspection test plans and quality plans with all applicable NOV parties, ensuring alignment and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams as required to address technical issues and ensure project success.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Work experience in oil & gas sphere is essential
- Work experience in project management or related roles, preferably in a repair or manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information relevant to repair projects.
- Professional knowledge of English is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies are preferred.
