JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Warehouse Manager (KZ passport holders) to join our team in Tengiz, Kazakhstan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and lead the Warehouse operation; receipting, manifesting, inspection, and storage and control of all materials and equipment
• Co-ordination and Interface with Client Customs agent for all Custom Clearance requirements
• Ensure all logistics and materials activity is compliant with HSEQ requirements
• Be responsible for all logistics and materials third party services contracts, including the subcontract to provide the warehousing facilities, and ensure services are delivered in accordance with the contracts and company operating procedures and statutory regulations
• Ensure all logistics and materials activity preserves the company's legal and commercial integrity and effectively contributes to the profitability of the operation
• Ensure full functionality of Clients SAP system is in use
• Promote knowledge sharing, innovation and continuous improvement
• Constantly review materials and logistics processes and procedures and upgrade or introduce new procedures to ensure leading edge compliance
• Undertake the appraisal and measurement of key logistics and materials third party service providers
• Ensure all logistics and materials contracts are executed and controlled in accordance with the highest standards of ethics and in compliance with company and statutory requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Skills typically acquired through 15+ years' experience
• Previous experience of supervision in a warehousing facility
• The individual should have varied and detailed work experience in the industry which would allow understanding of and exposure to key material control and logistics concepts and principles
• Previous Material Management System experience
• Good communications skills both oral, written and presentation focussed
• Extensive knowledge of engineering support for Asset development
• Self motivated, high level of delivery focus
• Ability to work within multiple teams and deal with changing priorities
• Strong team leadership requiring focus, enthusiasm, sensitivity, mentoring and coaching
