Your Mission

You would be part of the Engineering Excellence Centre (EEC) organization; a global group in charge of executing projects within Schneider Electric. Within EEC, you would be exposed to Schneider Electric's state-of-the-art solutions and platforms, and you would get a chance to participate in projects from all over the globe with a special focus on sustainability, efficiency, and digitization.

Senior DevOps Engineer - Magic happens when you bring great people together!

We are looking to hire an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to head up our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of new software systems. You may also be required to update existing software and conduct feasibility studies on company systems.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with Development Managers to discuss software projects.
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Incidence management and root cause analysis
• Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Mentoring and guiding the team members
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software testing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)
• Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure
• Excellent understanding of .Net, Python and Java
• Configuration and managing databases such as MSsql, Mongo
• Excellent troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
• AWS services: ECS, EC2, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, QuickSight, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda.
• Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.
• Github and azure devops
