Position: AdvancedSystems Engineer
Experience : 10+ years
Travel: 50-60% Global
Job Description: (Safety System or PLC experience is MUST) (SIS /FGS / ESD / IPS Engineer)

1. Assist Lead Engineer(LE)/ Engineering Manager (EM) with development of project designs (FDS/DDS)
2. Work with LeadEngineer (LE) to understand and apply engineering designs/technical specificationsduring project execution.
3. Background onfunctional safety
4. Background of SISdesign and engineering
5. Understand Safetylifecycle Plan
6. Should have basicknowledge of Safety concepts like Voting, MOS, OOS, plant shut down hierarchy.
7. Should be able towrite BMS sequence logic based on control narrative.
8. Should be able toidentify gap in customer inputs and raise appropriate queries
9. Knowledge on FGS zoneconcepts
10. Knowledge of IEC61508 / 611511 industrystandard
11. Should be able to finalize BOM (Bill ofMaterial)
12. Prepare IO database and develop I/OAssignment
13. Should have knowledge of Hardware Engineeringactivities like Cabinet design, Power and Heat load calculation, wiringdatabase generation.
14. Shall have knowledge on Instrumentationstandards, P&ID's
15. Develop applications based on customer inputssuch as C&E, Process Narratives/ descriptions, logic diagrams.
16. Conduct FAT and commissioning for Safetysystem independently
17. Assist LE/ EM to ensure that the engineeredsolution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards,quality, and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimumcost by allocating work assignments to project team
18. Shares technical knowledge with project team,supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines
19. Reports progress and technical problems toLead engineer/ Engineering Manager
20. Works independently & is fully proficientin applying established standards, complying with quality / safety processesand procedures. Guides engineers on day to day technical matters.
21. Assist LE/ EM to ensure that projects areexecuted within agreed schedule and budget to meet the customer requirements
22. Identify possible improvement opportunitiesand manage their implementation
23. Ensures that the final deliverable meets thefunctional specifications of the customer / end user by doing thorough qualitychecks
24. Possesses good verbal and written Englishcommunication skills. Articulates & communicates technical issueseffectively with LE/ EM/ customers and seeks effective closure.

Platforms & Domain Experience

Domain Knowledge - Oil &Gas, Chemical/ Petrochemical or anyother process automation
Experience on Safety system projects is preferred. Experience onPLC based projects can also be considered
Experience on Honeywell Safety Systems FSC and Safety Manager willbe added advantage
TUV Functional Safety engineer certification will be an addedadvantage

• Bachelor's degree from Instrumentation
