Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will issue, receive and store hand tools and other equipment. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of tools in your area. You participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Support Honeywell Operating System.
• Maintain assigned work areas
• Comply with all safety rules.
• Record and report data.
• Analyze and interpret data
• Order equipment
• Maintain records
• Follow written work instructions and diagrams

MUST HAVE:

• Proven experience as a Tool Grinder or similar role

• Technical diploma or certification in machining or a related field

• Experience in operating Manual (Conventional) Grinding machines

• Strong knowledge of grinding techniques and tool sharpening

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments

• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of different tool materials and their grinding requirements

• Strong team player with good communication and teamwork skills

• Able to work independently & collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
