Retail Site Support Accounting Team Leader (Polish Speaking) - fix term

Finance teams ensure up-to-date, reliable, accurate and transparent financial, accounting, management and statutory reports. Elaborate assets and transactions, carrying out the month end close processes and data integrity, financial statutory reports, general finance and accounting, controlling, intercompany accounting, performance reporting.

In this role You will:

  • Lead a team of Accounts Payable professionals
  • Allocate workload within the team and act as second level escalation point for Retail Site Support team members
  • Manage stakeholder relationships within the organization
  • Be accountable for controls being in place and working effectively across all processes and systems
  • Support process standardization by identifying improvement opportunities and process change proposals
  • Implement new/re-designed processes and make sure they are operated properly within the team
  • Highlight improvement areas for reaching the PPI targets
  • Do performance management and set priorities on issue resolution
  • Build up and maintain professional relationship with Business partners, acting as PTP AP representative towards to the Business, BPO and other functions
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
  • Motivate team members, discover training needs and provide coaching
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments

What You will need to be successful:

  • Proficiency in Polish and English language
  • Demonstrated process expertise in PTP, OTC, RTR Customer Services or Supply Chain Management
  • Relevant operational and/or design solution experience in the field of accounting gained in a business, BPO or similar environment
  • Relevant previous experience in a leadership and supporting continuous improvement position with similar accountabilities
  • Experience in leading and managing a team with diverse and wide scope
  • Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of systems and application tools and techniques to guide, motivate, train and support staff and makes full use of opportunities to coach and develop direct reports or virtual teams to maximise their performance, leadership and development potential
  • Project management and organisational change experience in a multi-national environment would be preferable
