Job SummaryDescription

The Houston Facility Director is responsible for directing the activities of the Real Estate & Facilities Services (REFS) maintenance team responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, building automation systems as well as landscaping and housekeeping at our Houston Campus and Park Row Warehouse. The position also serves as a liaison between employees and REFS leadership to identify and resolve facility related needs while adhering to ConocoPhillips' policies, procedures, and SPIRIT Values. The position requires delivering outstanding customer service in a way that provides a well-maintained, comfortable, and safe working environment.
Job Description
Your responsibilities may include:
  • Support facilities maintenance and predictive maintenance schedules in compliance with local and national regulatory authorities and best practices
  • Support matters related to routine building services, including the building automation systems, while providing guidance to the maintenance department in support of any corrective actions
  • Leads housekeeping, landscaping, and elevator systems at the Houston Campus and Park Row Warehouse
  • Collaborates closely with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to adhere to the company's HSE policies
  • Delivers outstanding customer service in a way that values all people, relationships, and perspectives
  • Acts as a liaison for internal customers seeking REFS support and information
  • Assists capital project related action items as needed
  • Leads matters related to vendor management and oversight
  • Advises on the purchase of products and services
  • Handles budget in scope of role and assists with campus budget forecasts
  • Ensures accurate and timely invoice processing
  • Supports notifications to building occupants about building impacts: i.e., weather, plumbing, electrical or fire system events

Basic/Required:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, related field or foreign equivalent
  • 3 or more years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field
  • 3 or more years of experience in a supportive management role
  • Intermediate proficiency applying budgeting and finance skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS O365 applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodations) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis
